Mediums

I really enjoy working in all mediums but I specialize in charcoal and chalk hand-drawn portraits. - Eyes are realy important to me. I try to capture emotion and character of my subject in there eyes as well as well as the face. It is very exciting that my drawing or painting are a treasured family heirlooms.

I like a wide range of visual art and artists. When I was little I had a few big eyed little girl paintings and "pity puppy" paintings. When I was a young teen I started collecting a few originals and prints. I also liked collecting book marks that had paintings of book covers. I also collected old hard cover books. These artists inspired me.
